Robin Curran is a respected and influential leader in Australian healthcare, with over 25 years of experience spanning clinical practice, pharmaceuticals, medical aesthetics, education, and governance. After graduating from the University of Technology in 1992, Robin built a successful career in executive leadership across global pharmaceutical companies before co-founding EP Healthcare, a specialist recruitment firm focused on pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and cosmetic medicine across Australia and New Zealand.
Her passion for aesthetics began more than 15 years ago when she launched a thriving medispa in Brisbane, recognised for its commitment to quality and professionalism. In 2015, she began training doctors and nurses in cosmetic injectables with Galderma Australia, which sparked the vision for her own education centre. This vision became a reality with the launch of FACE Academy – Facial Aesthetic Centre for Excellence in 2017, a purpose-built training facility dedicated to elevating clinical standards in aesthetic medicine.
Robin’s career has since continued to blend clinical innovation with strategic business leadership. After FACE Academy was acquired by publicly listed company Vita Group, she served as General Manager – Clinical Education & Training, developing comprehensive clinical governance frameworks, education pathways, SOPs, and advanced training programs across a network of 90 clinics.
From 2015 to 2023, Robin also held key leadership roles as Deputy Chair and Chair of the Australian College of Nursing’s Faculty of Cosmetic Dermatology, where she helped establish national practice standards for nurses in this emerging specialty.
She has contributed to academic literature as co-author of a textbook chapter on cosmetic nursing and is actively involved in research into the Australian cosmetic injectables landscape.
